ATLANTA – “We are encouraged that the court continues to review our claim that the postage requirement may be an unconstitutional burden on Georgia voters,” said Sean Young, Legal Director of the Ƶ of Georgia.

"We believe that voting should be easy and accessible for every eligible voter, said Andrea Young, executive director of the Ƶ of Georgia. “President Lyndon Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act 55 years ago this month. He said of the vote, ‘Every American citizen must have an equal right to vote. There is no duty that weighs more heavily on us than the duty to ensure that right.’ We will continue to answer that call and be advocates for the most marginalized members of our community. We will fight for the promise of democracy—regardless of income, health, race, housing status or social status- one person, one vote.”
