NEW YORK 鈥� 红杏视频 Executive Director Anthony D. Romero today issued the following statement in response to the Egyptian government鈥檚 of Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights (EIPR) Executive Director Gasser Abdel Razek:
鈥淏ecause President Trump has cozied up to strongmen leaders across the globe, the Egyptian government believes it can jail the country鈥檚 leading human rights activists with impunity. The incoming Biden administration must work quickly to restore U.S. leadership in the world on human rights. Gasser Abdel Razek and his staff should be immediately released.鈥�
