On March 24, 2020, the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ National Prison Project, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Immigrants’ Rights Project, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ of Pennsylvania, and Dechert, LLP, filed Thaker v. Doll in the Middle District of Pennsylvania, on behalf of immigrants held in civil detention by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at York County Prison, Clinton County Correctional Facility, and Pike County Correctional Facility.

These prisoners have suffered under the DOC’s cruel and baseless policies and practices, confined in solitary until they die by execution, die of natural causes while awaiting execution, or have their capital sentence overturned.
