Bio

Maya Guerra is a Paralegal with the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµâ€™s Voting Rights Project in New York. Before joining the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ, Maya served as a White House Scheduling and Advance Intern in the Office of the First Lady of the United States and as an Advance Associate, helping plan and execute official events from State Arrivals to international trips.

Maya interned with the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµâ€™s National Advocacy Institute, coordinating logistics for over 800 youth advocates in the nation’s capital. She has also held roles with Texas House of Representatives, the Comparative Constitutions Project, and the Bill Archer Fellowship. She earned her B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Mexican American & Latino Studies and as part of the College of Liberal Arts Honors Program.
