Bio
Gabriela Perez is a paralegal with the State Supreme Court Initiative where she assists a team of attorneys fighting for the expansion of rights through state supreme courts. Gabriela graduated summa cum laude from the University of Chicago with a dual degree in Latin American and Iberian Languages and Global Studies. Prior to joining the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ, Gabriela spent a year in Brazil, teaching English at the Universidade Estadual de Maringá as a Fulbright scholar. As a person who stutters, Gabriela is passionate about disability rights and is proud of her involvement with the National Stuttering Association where she leads the DEI committee, working to make the NSA a more diverse, inclusive, equitable, and safe environment for all.
